Much has been happening behind the scenes at Lorne Sculpture Biennale HQ.  I can’t quite believe it, but it is true – the event is just on 220 days away from the opening ceremony in Lorne on 17th March 2018!  Before we get there, we still have three important fundraising projects to achieve this year and we would dearly love your support to make them a great success.

The Women Sculptors Initiative

Our Curator, Lara Nicholls has just launched this important crowd-funding campaign on the Creative Partnerships Australian Cultural Fund (ACF) platform. This fundraising project will gather funds of all amounts to specifically support our women sculptors at Landfall 2018.

Public sculpture requires a lot of capital and quite often women artists simply don’t have the same access. If you have not already made a donation to the Biennale, please visit the ACF website. No amount is too small.

I am looking forward to seeing you at one of these exciting events.

Warm wishes,
